Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches.
• Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt.
• General demolition work without power-tools until trained by supervisor
• Uphold quality service by following organization standards
• Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned Skills and Requirements:
  • Minimal construction experience necessary
  • Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, skid loaders and other tools as directed by management.
  • Ability to assist welders, carpenters, painters, or other tradespeople on-site
  • Ability to handle and transport materials (e.g., cement) and equipment (e.g., drills and grinders).
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize a workload
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Able and willing to work nights and weekends Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift and move 50 or more pounds
    • Ability to work indoors and outside (including during inclement weather)
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time
    • Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely
