Job Title: Business Accountability Associate
Position type: Full-time Contract(W2)
Location: El Paso, Texas 79901
Duration: 6 months contract with intention to convert.
In office 5 days a week is a requirement

As a Business Accountability Associate you will:

Be part of Transactional Risk & Intelligence Group (TRIG) is a centralized function within Financial Crimes Operations that delivers actionable transactional analysis and intelligence reporting. TRIG is seeking a BAA to perform transactional reviews of trade finance customers and their letter of credit activity.
Conduct due diligence research on parties to letters of credit to determine if the activity is commercially reasonable.
Evaluate letters of credit exhibiting red flags for trade based money laundering to see if the risks can be mitigated.
Work with 1,000s of rows and cells of data in Microsoft Excel to perform the analysis on datapoints ranging from geography to transactional values and volumes to relational data.
Write observations and risk dispositions that help business partners better understand customer's behavior and manage the risk.
Communicate findings and provide appropriate direction to manager/reviewer and business partners.


The ideal candidate will have:Knowledge of financial crimes analysis in school, or accounting/business from school.
Education that included writing skills, research papers, Excel skills etc. will align with this position and is a required skill.
We need resources that are eager to work through transactions.
Had strengths in writing and Excel is great.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: Between $27-$31 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
