Job SummaryThis role provides direct clinical patient care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.The Surgical Nurse Specialist will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct clinical care, as well as supervising staff to ensure competency and appropriate resource management.Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and plan direct clinical care for assigned patients
• Implement and evaluate direct clinical care
• Supervise staff to ensure competency and appropriate resource managementRequirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
  • 2+ years of experience in surgical nursing
