Job SummaryThe Surgical/Orthopedic Unit Registered Nurse at The Hospitals of Providence - East Campus is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for medical patients through their hospital stay. This role requires a nurse who is proficient in acute care and has the ability to work cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice.Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of nursing care for medical patients
• Participate in patient and family teaching
• Provide leadership and work cooperatively with other patient team personnelRequirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • BLS Certification
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Texas or compact state
  • ACLS preferred
