Job Description:
Summary
The Pre-operative Registered Nurse / RN is a professional nurse who
coordinates the delivery of nursing care for patients undergoing
invasive surgical procedures. The registered nurse / RN
demonstrates competency in assessing patients, planning, and
coordinating their care. The registered nurse / RN participates in
patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working
cooperatively with other disciplines to provide evidence based
medical care for the patient.
