*Job Summary*We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The CRNA will play a critical role in providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures in a Level II Trauma Center. This position requires a strong commitment to patient safety, adherence to HIPAA regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.*Duties*- Administer anesthesia for various surgical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.- Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing physical examinations.- Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures, making necessary adjustments as required.- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia care plans.- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration and patient responses in compliance with HIPAA regulations.- Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.- Provide post-anesthesia care, including monitoring recovery from anesthesia and managing any complications that may arise.- Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology practices and participate in ongoing professional development.*Requirements*- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).- Strong knowledge of anesthesiology principles and practices.- Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology related to anesthesia.- Experience in a medical office setting or Level II Trauma Center is preferred.- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation of patient care.- Ability to provide high-quality patient care in fast-paced environments, including PICU settings.- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.- Previous experience or training in internal medicine is advantageous.Join our team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through expert anesthesia services.
