Job Description:
The CAO manages the day-to-day administrative and financial
services for assigned areas. They act as an ambassador to the
community, building goodwill and notoriety of the hospital/area.
Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Planning: Develops and executes the strategic
plan.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Responsible for the execution of daily
operations and collaborating with leaders in a hospital and
outpatient environment.
- Quality, Safety, Service: Ensures quality, safety, and service
to patients.
- Employee Engagement: Engages staff in activities to create high
employee engagement scores at the hospital.
- Partnership: Partners collaboratively with nurse and physician
hospital leaders.
- Financial Viability: Understands hospital finances and works to
ensure a positive bottom line.
- Dyad Leadership: Collaborates with relevant physician leaders
on key decisions affecting the hospital.Position is a member of the
Senior Leadership Team.Required Skills

and local regulations and practice guidelines.

potential effects of proposed actions.
- Ability to strategize and develop service lines.Required
ExperienceWork Experience:
- Seven years of hospital experience, including oversight or
interaction with human resources, marketing, compliance, outreach,
and/or strategic planning and development required.
- Five years of Director-level management experience
required.
- Executive-level experience preferred.Education and Training:
- Master's degree in healthcare, nursing, or business (MHA, MSN,
